How to Replace Your Refrigerator Water Filter
- Locate the filter — usually in the upper-right interior of the refrigerator or behind the base grille.
- Twist the old filter counter-clockwise (about a quarter turn) and pull it straight out.
- Remove the protective cap from the new EDR1RXD1 filter.
- Insert and twist clockwise until it locks into place.
- Run 3–4 gallons of water through the dispenser to flush the new filter before drinking.
